Farmhouse now house. Datestones 18/1761, IT/RD/1771 probably altered early C19.
Squared coursed limestone with Collyweston slate roof. Double depth plan. 2
storeys with attics. Main front is a 3-window range. Central 4-panel door under
stone lintel with keyblock. Sash windows with glazing bars; 8-paned at first
floor and 6-paned at ground floor, all under gauged stone heads. 3 hipped roof
dormers with casement windows. Ashlar gable parapets and ashiiar end stacks. Left
gable has datastone. Rear elevation has casement windows and a shallow wooden
projection in the centre of the first floor. Outbuilding, attached to left of
main front, links with barn and granary. Barn has central cart entrance, under
wood lintel, with relieving arch above, and flanking buttresses; similar
buttress to right. Granary has external flight of stone steps. Range of shelter
sheds, attached at right angles, to far left has 10 bays of open fronted
segmental-head arcades. Barn and granary have C20 concrete tile roof with
renewed roof structure. Interior of house not inspected but noted as having
panelled window reveals, C18 stair with turned balusters. Large fireplace in
kitchen, now blocked, and original numbered roof trusses.
