Late C19 house, probably extensive remodelling of earlier building. Coursed
limestone rubble. Fishscale tile roof with stone gable coping. Six bay plan.
One storey and attics. Two slightly projecting gabled wings, with W. bay
slightly lower. S. elevation: four attic dormers with gable coping and
moulded kneelers. Attic storey has six windows in all - 2-light casement
windows, the easternmost one has a large stone mullion. Ground floor has five
3-light casement windows with high level transom. Three doorways; westernmost
one in lower bay has open-sided gabled porch with carved bargeboards. Other
two doorways in central two bays in angles with projecting wings. Both now
contain French windows and have pedimented doorhoods on two slender timber
piers.
