Yew Tree Farmhouse and attached barn,
II
Farmhouse and attached barn. Mid and late C18 and early C19.
Late C18 house. Red brick. Pantile roof. Left gable red brick
stack. Dentil eaves. 2 storeys, 3 bays. Central doorway with
panelled door and glazing bar overlight. Either side are single
tripartite sashes under segmental arches. Above are 2 similar
sashes with single central smaller sash. Attached to the right
is the mid C18 taller red brick wing. Pantile roof. Brick coped
gables with kneelers. Left external red brick gable stack.
Dentil eaves. 2 storeys, 2 bays. Altered openings. Projecting
from the left is a red brick turret with flat roof. To the right
is a single segmental arched tripartite glazing bar casement.
Above is a larger tripartite casement. Attached to the right is
the C19 red brick one and a half storey barn with pantile roof,
hipped to the right. Dentil eaves. Large carriageway, to the
right on the first floor is a single wooden slatted opening with
overlight.
