I

Conservatory. Early C19. The south-western half of the frame is cast-iron, the north-eastern half is wooden on a high plastered brick plinth. Circular plan. One storey with glazed hemispherical dome, above a cellar. Pedimented main entrance to the south-west; the glazed wall of the south-west semi-circle is divided into bays defined by pilasters.

Interior. The dome is carried on a pair of brick arches which spring from a central brick flue in the form of a column which retains fragments of fluted plasterwork and a coved capital. Brick steps are built around the column on a circular plan. Cast iron pilasters in the south-west half, and a frieze of brick key and acanthus leaf design. The conservatory was heated from a furnace in the cellar. It was derelict at time of resurvey (June 1986).
