Probably of late C16 origin but much altered at various times. Timber frame
with plastered brick infill; 2 storeys plus attic. Front has 3 projecting
gabled bays, the central containing staircase; 4 casement windows; massive
lateral chimney with stone base and brick stack; plain eaves; tiles. Interior
has exposed ceiling beams, panelling, old panelled or plank doors, and good
early C17 staircase extending to attic.
