The Fox and Hounds


GV II


House, now inn. C18 core extended and altered mid C19. Painted brickwork
with raised bands to floor level; end and ridge stacks. East front
of two storeys, and two gables each with one window set to right of
each gable, mullioned and transomed casements. Entrance to left of
right hand gable with boarded door. C19 lean-to against left side.
C18 work continued on Main Street side for two windows, ended by a
gable; substantial late C19 addition beyond. Forms part of a tight
village centre group. Included for group value.
