SK 13 SE DRAYCOTT-IN-THE-CLAY C.P. A515 (East side)

8/106 Draycott Mill

II

Watermill. C18. Red brick on stone plinth; plain tile roof. One
storey and attic; roughly 2 bays, small casements and gabled dormers,
central semi-octagonal projection with hipped roof and casement and
gabled dormer to right hand side, flanked by 2 segmental arches with
raised keys spanning the mill streams, the right hand one blocked.
South (right)gable: Door to right of centre; roof truss has tie
beam and collar with V-struts above, and 2 pairs of purlins. Attached
on north to Draycott Mill Farmhouse (not included). Detailed inspection
not possible at time of resurvey.
