A red brick building with stone dressings built in 1852 to the designs
of Mr Fleury an Ipswich architect It stands at right angles to the main
buildings of Ipswich School on the North end. Gabled at the east end,
with a panel traceried window. There is a Gabled transept on the south
side with a circular light in the gable, Roof slate.
Ipswich School and the Chapel form a group.
