Probably C17 with later additons. South front has two storeys plus attics.
Coursed rubble. Stone slate roof with 2 dormers with hipped roofs. Projecting
eaves. 2 windows on first-floor, of paired lights (one half a casement
and the other half a sash) in stone frames with stone mullion and rectangular
drip-mould each. Glazing bars intact. The building continues to north
with a range of 2 storeys plus attic in gable. Windows are of one and
two lights with stone window surrounds and mullions. Entered from passageway
at rear.

Nos 1 and 3 form a group with No 19 Newtown.
