Estate house. c1860. Fine gauged and patterned brick with stone
dressing. Patterned slate roof. Two and 3 storeys, L-plan, with
stone single storey porch in re-entrant angle covering 7-panelled
door. Stone mullioned windows with timber glazing, and iron bars
to ground floor windows of wing. Wide eaves with brackets and open
fretted barge boards. The house is extended by a single-storey
extension to left, and by a wall of 3 panels to right, both being
in red and buff patterned brickwork. Roof has slates of various
patterns, and crested ridge tiles.
