Semi-detached cottage, formerly 2. Early/mid C18. Coursed squared ironstone,
whitewashed to front and side. Corrugated iron roof; brick end stacks. 2-unit
plan. One storey and attic; 2-window range. Half-glazed C20 door. Single light
to left. 3-light C19 casement with horizontal glazing bar to right. Attic has
old leaded 3-light casement on left and small single light to right. C20 single
storey addition to left has half-glazed door. Painted wood lintels. To rear:
2-light recessed chamfered stone mullioned window to left; C20 casement to
right. Interior: room to left has large open fireplace. Rough bressumer and
ceiling beams to ground floor rooms. Old settle at right-angles to fireplace,
brought in from another cottage. Included for group value.
