Circa C17 range of timber-framed cottages with red brick infill panels, the
ground floor largely faced in C18/C19 red brick. Steeply pitched cedar shingle
roof with gabled ends. On sandstone plinth. No 23 one storey and attic. Steps
up to plank door at right and later small bay window with casements with
glazing bars to left of door. One eyebrow dormer at eaves with two-light
casement with glazing bars. No 25 two storeys. Steps up to off centre plank
door with two-light casement on either side. At first floor a two-light
casement with glazing bars. Two brick ridge chimney stacks.
