Farmhouse. c.1700 altered and slightly raised C19/early C20. Flemish bond brick with sandstone plinth and rusticated alternating quoins, and brick dentil cornice, Old plain-tile hipped roof; brick ridge stacks, H-plan. 2 storeys; now 1-1-1 bays, but probably originally 5 bays, Symmetrical front has part-glazed 6-panelled door in sandstone bolection-moulded doorcase with moulded cornice. Flanking narrow windows have gauged brick flat arches with acanthus-carved keystones, and C19/C20 casements. C19/C20 three-light wood mullioned and transomed windows in altered openings with brick flat arches; traces of blocked original openings remain. Left return side has lead rainwater head inscribed KG ET 1854. Two hipped dormers, to left with brick pigeon openings, and to right with 2-light casement. Right return side, formerly a 3-window range, has various cross windows with gauged brick flat arches and console keystones. Room to right is noted as having an open fireplace with moulded cornice.
