Cottage, formerly 2. mid/late C18. Sandstone rubble with red brick quoins and
dentil cornice, old plain-tile roof; brick end stacks and internal stack in
right corner. T-plan, 2 storeys; 2-window range. Central plank door, 3-light
casements with top lights and central opening lights 3-light casements to first first
floor, on left with central opening light. Left end has doorway; right end has
siaail single light. Brick buttress on right front corner. Doorway 2-light
casements and lean-to extension to rear, interior noted as having chamfered
spine beams, some chamfered rafters, and 2 open fireplaces, that to rear with
probably re-used ovoIo-moulded bressumer.
