Barn. Late C17/early C18. Red brick; plain tile and slate roof, hipped to the
south-west, L-shaped plan: main range of 7 roof bays with 3 threshing floors,
aligned north-east/south-west facing south-east with rear wing to the
north-east. One storey. 3 cart entrances, to left, right and centre. The right
hand (north-east) gable has an exposed timber-framed roof truss with 2 collars
and a saddle at the apex. Interior: tall king-post roof trusses carrying 2 pairs
of purlins; raking struts extend from the tie beams to the principals and from
the king-posts to the principals; there are straight wind braces.
