Canal lock No 64 on Kennet and Avon Canal. c1799. John Rennie,
chief engineer. Lock of brick with stone copings. Timber gates.
Upper gates with ground paddles. Inset ladder in lock. Lower
gates with gear for gate paddles. Both gates restored 1981.
Accommodation bridge below lower gate, bullnosed 330mm brick rings.
Two course string and parapet with flush round brick copings, the
bridge being splayed on plan.
