II

Two ranges of barns at approximate right angles. Probably C18.
Timber framed with thatched roofs, and linking block of brick with
thatched roof. Range by driveway comprises a 5-bay barn with
central doors, with roof carried over open cartway and linking to
further 3 bays. Gable of this block linked in brick to brick
carriagehouse at right angles, with a second cartway beyond being
the end bay of a 5-bay timber framed and thatched barn, opening on
to yard. Structure comprises posts strutted to tie beams, queen
struts and collars to principal rafters. Windbraces to lower of 2
purlins.
