A timber framed and plastered building probably of medieval origin but very much
altered in modern times and partly faced in brick, painted on the front. Roof
thatched with gabled dormers. A wing at the rear retains the original structure.
The interior has good heavy closely spaced exposed timber-framing, ceiling beams
and joists.
