A grey gault brick house of C18 origin but largely rebuilt in the early-mid
C19, with later alterations and additions. 2 storeys. The windows generally
are double-hung sashes, some with glazing bars. On the north-east front
there are 2 gables, one projects with a semi-circular arched doorway.
On the north-west front there are 2 gables. A large brick bay projects
on the south-east front. An ornamental brick band extends at 1st storey
window sill level on the north-east block. Roofs tiled. The interior
has a room with good C18 panelling (inserted) and one wall has a carved
screen said to be taken from a city church. The screen has fine carvings
of angels heads and fluted corinthian columns.
