House. Mid C17, extended C18, altered C20. Timber frame, plastered. Steeply
pitched pantiled roof. Originally 2 cells with an end stack, parlour added to
right. 1 storey and attic. Entrance to left into service bay, 1 and 2-light
glazing bar casements, 2 C20 raking dormers, axial ridge stack at original
right end. Gable end pantiled clay lump lean-to outshuts, 2-light attic
casements, pentice board to left, boarded gable to right. To rear right a
catslide roof over a clay lump lean-to outshut, C20 additions to rear left.
Interior: hall has a stop chamfered axial binding beam, straight arched and
reverse curved braces in walling, arched braces to tie beam bisected by
doorway, collars clasp purlins; C18 parlour has a chamfered axial binding
beam, through tension bracing.
