House, latterly with a shop. Late C17 or early C18, altered C19, extended
C20. Timber frame, plastered with some brick casing. Thatched roof. 3 bay,
2 cell lobby entry plan. 1 storey and attic. Central entrance into a C20
tiled porch, to left a 12 pane former shop window and a blocked entrance, to
right an C18 9-pane part opening casement, hoodboards. Two 2-light gabled
dormers. Axial ridge stack slightly to left of centre, rebuilt cap. Gable
end exposed plates and purlins, C20 brick to left. To rear a 1 storey C20
pantiled addition and a lean-to outshut. Interior: exposed framing of small
scantling, through tension braces, axial binding beams. First floor not
inspected. Included for group value.
