House, c.1570. 2 storeys. 2-cell lobby-entrance plan. Timber-framed and
plastered. Thatched roof with C16/17 axial chimney of red brick, the shaft
largely rebuilt C19/C20. C20 casements. C20 boarded entrance door; a C20
pantiled verandah on posts. Typical and quite complete late C16 framing fully
exposed. Evidence for diamond-mullioned shuttered windows: one has a blocked
ovolo-mullioned window inserted into it. Wind-braced clasped purlin roof. A
lintelled C17 open fireplace in the hall.
