Farmhouse. C16, in 2 phases. Timber framed, roughcast-rendered; roof of
corrugated asbestos sheeting. 2 storeys and attic. Jettied front gable end
carried on plain brackets. 2-cell main range with a lower section to the
rear. Various casement windows, mainly of mid C20 date; older windows in
front gable end. Lobby entrance with C20 door. Internal stack. Over the
front fireplace on the first floor is a small painted plaster panel depicting
Adam and Eve with the serpent coiled around a tree. Some good exposed
framing.
