- Hemplands with attached
outbuildings

GV II

House. Early C19. Red brick. Glazed pantiled roof. 2 bays. 2 storeys.
Ground floor: entrance slightly to left of centre, recessed 6 raised panelled
door, pilastered doorcase with roundels in entablature, projecting cornice.
Moulded flush frame 16-pane sashes with finely gauged brick flat arched heads.
First floor 4:8 pane sashes. Boxed eaves. Left end internal stack. Right
end external stack with offsets, pantiled oven projection. 1 storey and attic
continuous lean-to outshut to rear. Interior not inspected. Attached to left
end is a later C19 1 storey outbuilding with double doors linking to further
C19 outbuildings at right angles which pertain to The Hollies (q.v.). Red
brick stables with double doors and loft opening, towards road a clay lump gig
room with a hipped pantiled roof, away from road is harness room.
