Former farmhouse. C16 core, partly rebuilt C18. Right hand section timber
framed, mainly cement-rendered: this was the parlour end until C18 when a
lean-to was added and it was converted into a dairy with cheese loft above.
Remainder of house rebuilt in C18 red brick. Plaintiled roof. 2 storeys and
attic. 3 cell form. 3 windows, C19 and C20 casements. 2 boarded doors, the
left one set in a gabled brick porch. 3 mid C20 gabled dormers. Internal
stack and gable stack to left. The dairy end is unmodernised, with complete
first floor framing except for the end wall which has been removed. There is
one original 6-light window with cavetto mullions and part of a second (both
blocked). The centre room has an open fireplace with original lintol.
