Former farmhouse. C16-C17 core, C18 facade. Timber framed core, encased in
colourwashed brick with a moulded wooden eaves cornice. Pantiled roof with
glazed black tiles to the front. 2 storeys and attic. 3 windows, flush-frame
sashes with glazing bars: there are flanking full-height 3-light canted bays
and a tripartite window in the centre above the doorway. 2 other large-paned
sash windows are in unsymmetrical positions. Central doorway with half-glazed
door, panelled pilasters, frieze and modillion cornice. 3 flat-roofed
dormers. Internal stack with plain rectangular shaft and a rebuilt gable
stack to the right. Single-storey flanking additions. Some of the earlier
timber-framed structure is visible inside.
