Farmhouse. C17 with late C18 or early C19 facade. Timber framed.
Ground floor red and grey brick in Flemish bond to left of door,
chequered red and grey brick on stone base to right. Plain tile-
hanging to first floor to front, fishscale tiles to gable ends. Plain
tile roof. Lobby entry plan of 2 timber-framed bays and central stack
bay. 2 storeys and attic. Steeply-pitched half-hipped roof, with
gablet to left. Red and grey brick stack towards centre. Three two-
light dormers with hipped roofs. Irregular fenestration of 4 leaded
casements; one three-light to left of stack, one two-light under
stack, and one three-light and one two-light to right. Door with four
fielded panels, two top lights, and flat corniced hood under stack.
Lean-to to right gable end and to rear. C19 bakehouse to rear,
connected to house by pergola; part rendered and weatherboarded, part
brick, with plain tile roof gabled to left, hipped to right. Single-
storey with left gable end stack. Small projecting gabled store to
left gable end. Centrally projecting rectangular rear oven with
individual flue. Well-head adjoining front wall. Interior has
fireplace, two copper stands, bread-oven hatch and sink stand.
Interior: only partly inspected. Chamfered axial beams and plain
brick fireplaces with chamfered bressumers to ground-floor rooms.
Later painted wood staircase with turned balusters behind stack.
