Farmhouse. Late C16 or early C17, the right hand end of the main
range probably slightly later than the remainder. L shape plan
with service range to rear. Timber framed and plastered,
pantiled roof. 2 storeys and attic. 3 window range, 3-light and
4-light casements with mid C20 glass and imitation leadwork;
lobby entrance with gabled porch incorporating a re-used door
head with carved spandrels (this may have come from The
Broadhurst, Brandeston); 6-panel door, the upper 2 panels glazed;
internal stack. To the rear is a good C17 mullion and transom
window with carved sill. Interior with an original vertically-
boarded oak partition and some good exposed timbering.
