Farmhouse. C17 with later C17/early C18 addition. Timber framed with
colourwashed infill and roof of black and orange pantiles. Two-storeys, L-
shaped plan. Three-cell, baffle-entry plan to the earlier wing. Entrance
front: later projecting wing at left which has a C20 French window to the
gable end at right and a 2-light C20 window to the gable. The right hand
flank of this wing has a 2-light casement at left and a 3-light casement at
right of the ground floor and a 3-light first floor casement at right. In
the re-entrant angle between this and the earlier wing is a lean-to porch
with pantile roof. To right of this in the axial range is a gabled porch
at near-centre with a central 1/2-glazed doorway and lateral lights. To
right and left of this are 3-light C19 casements. The first floor has two
3-light and two 2-light casements. To the ridge at right of centre is a
single-flue stack and a further stack to left of the projecting wing.
Right hand gable end : cross window to the ground floor and a 2-light first
floor window with an outshut at right of this, slightly recessed, with a 2-
light cambered-headed window. Left hand side: gable end of the axial range
at left with two 3-light ground floor casements. One 3-light first floor
casements and a 3-light attic casement above. Projecting later wing at
right of this has a ground floor stable door at left with a single-light
window to left of it, and at right of it a 2-light and a single-light
window. Flat-roofed dormer window to the first floor with 2 lights at left
and one at right. Rear: single-storey lean-to with catslide pantile roof
with plank door at right, a cross window at left of that and a 2-light C20
casement at right again. The walling to right of this has two 3-light
casements.
