surrounding Playford Hall
II
Bridge and revetments. Early C18 with possible late C16 core (the moat is of
late C16 or earlier). Red brick. The bridge has parapets of brick with
limestone copings; the pair of 4-centred arches were renewed C19 or C20,
formerly being semi-circular. The parapets are splayed out and linked to
revetments along the south bank, which return for a short distance along the
east and west arms of the moat.
