House, formerly farmhouse. C16 or C17. Timber framed with colourwashed
render and colourwashed brick with a plain tiled roof. Two storeys and
attic. Entrance front: projecting gabled wing at left with C20 three-light
windows to ground and first floors with a cross-window to the attic. Axial
range at right of this which has, at left of centre a projecting gabled
wing, a ground floor doorway at right with a single-light window at left
and a cross window to the gable. To the left of this is a 5-light ground
floor C19 window and to right a 3-light casement and 2 cross windows. To
the first floor at left are a 3-light window and a single light divided by
a king mullion. To right are two 3-light first floor C19 casements. Blank
right hand gable end. Left hand front: to right an earlier portion of 2
bays with 3-light ground floor windows at either side of a central door
with classical surround and pediment above in front of which is an open
gabled porch. To either side at first floor level are further 3-light
casements. To left of this is a C20 addition which is of brick and has two
tripartite sash windows to the left and a window of 2 x 3 panes at right.
Two similar first floor windows with a small sash window at right. Rear:
C19 and C20 random fenestration.
