5/78 The Old Schoolhouse

House, formerly schoolmaster's house. Early C19. Flemish bond brick with
a black pantile roof. Two storeys. Entrance front: 3 bays symmetrically
disposed. Central ½-glazed door to the centre of the ground floor with a
blank tympanum above it. To either side are sash windows of 2x4 panes with
splayed heads. To the first floor is a central blank window with two
lateral windows of 2x4 panes. Hipped roof above. Recessed and extending
at left is a service range. Rear: 2 storey outshut masking the whole
length.
