House. C16 wing with main range rebuilt in late C17, altered and extended in
C18. Timber framed on brick plinth, whitewashed brick cladding below left and
on both floors to right, tile hung above to left. Plain tiled roofs, half
hipped to right, hipped with gablet to left. Multiple brick ridge stacks to
left with oversailing tops, further ridge stack to right. T shape plan with
main range at right angles to street, older projecting wing to left. 2 storeys
regular fenestration of leaded casements one 5-light and one 2-light window
to first floor right, two diamond pane 5-light windows in wing to left. Panelled
door under four centred arched head to left of centre in C20 timber framed porch
with flanking window to left. Catslide outshot to left hand side with one
dormer window. Rear: Framing of thin scantling exposed.
Interior:- Framing exposed with original deep brick fireplaces to ground floor
left. Ceiling frames on wall framing exposed in first floor with early C17
staircase to attic; turned balusters and square newel posts to side.
