Third quarter of C19 2-storey, 3-bay irregular, picturesque house. Narrow, projecting
central bay; centre and left bays under steeply pitched gables. Painted brick,
fishscale slated roof. Some sash windows with glazing bars and a 1st floor centre
casement. Wide, square porch has carved arch and pierced spandrels. Set back
half-glazed door. At right a little coach-house of 1 storey and attic. Slated
roof, painted brick walls. Carriage doors under wide, cambered brick arch. Small
casement in gable peak above.
Nos 18A, 20, 24, 26 including Coach-house, and 28 Upper West Street and Nos 24 and
24A West Street form a group.
