Cottage. Early C16 with later C16 and C19 alterations and extensions. Timber framed on render plinth with whitewashed roughcast cladding and C20 tile hangingabove under plain-tiled, half-hipped roof with end gablets.

Three-bay lobby entry plan incorporating the remains of earlier house. Two storeys with stacks to right of centre and left end. Two gabled dormers, larger one to centre, with diamond-pane glazing. Four windows to ground floor, one window to first floor right. Panelled door to lobby entry, right of centre, in gabled "rustic" porch. Further door in small extension, set back to left under first floor window. Pentice extension to right.

Interior: base-cruck truss to left of centre with struts to rear wall visible. Collar above joining crucks supporting three queen posts. Substantial framing exposed on ceilings and in first floor, smoke blackened timbers in roof. Deep brick fireplace with bacon loft. A rare example of cruck construction in Surrey.
