House. Late C16 and C17 with C19 and C20 extensions. Timber framed, clad in
whitewashed roughcast with tile hanging to rear; whitewashed render hrick
extensions. Graded Horsham slabs over old range, plain tiled pitches to rear
and on extensions. C16 core with C20 extensions in front and to end. C17 wing
to right end. Rendered multiple stack to left of centre. Two storeys.
Entrance front:- Outer 3-light casement windows central 5-light leaded casement
on first floor. Two ground floor outer windows under tile hoods on scroll
brackets. Part-glazed door left of centre under similar hood. Square gable-
end extension to left projects with plat band over ground floor; one 3-light
window on each floor; stack at junction with old range. Right hand return
front:- One first floor and two ground floor windows in gable end to left, all
under hoods on brackets. Two diamond-pane windows to first floor and ground
floor to right. Glazed door between under gable hood on brackets. Offset stack
to right with single storey extension to end. Rear - tile hung gable to right
of centre with end post visible, larger gable to centre behind single storey
range.
Interior:- Lambs tongue stops to chamfered beams. Queen-post roof with carpenter's
marks above.
