Entrance gateway to Rotherfield Hall 1897 by Francis Inigo Thomas for Lindsay
Lindsay-Hogg. Piers of rubblestone brought to course with ashlar finials; cast-
iron gates. Large piers, square on plan, with pyramidal finials. Decorative
double gates with arched top. Part of the garden setting to Rotherfield Hall
(qv), the garden being listed Grade II* in the Register of historic Parks and
Garden of Special Interest.
