5/133 Horseshoe Cottage

GV II
Cottage, formerly 2. C17/early C18. Timber framing with plaster infill,
reputed to have some lath and plaster. Section of wall to right rebuilt late
C20 with imitation timbers in cement. Late C20 tile roof, chimneys removed.
Two-unit plan. 2 storeys, 4-window range. Central plank door with leaded
light panel, and door to passage to rear on left. Left end wall largely
rebuilt in lias and brick. Some exposed framingto rear. Interior: 2 open
fireplaces with chamfered bressumers. Some exposed framing. Included for
group value.
