Houses, now offices and flats. One build. Mid C16 (VCH), with C18, C19 and C20 alterations. Timber framed; close studding with lath and plaster infill. Formerly jettied; ground floor built out in whitewashed C18 brick. Old tile roof; brick stacks. L-plan. 2 storeys and attic with twin gables. No.18 has 2 central mid C20 doors in single opening, bow windows, and casement. No.19 has C18 six-panelled door and overlight, and adjoining old shop window; small sash to right; open passageway. Upper floors have C19 iron casements with glazing bars. Gables said to have diapered barge boards and pendant finials (VCH), but these are boxed in and barely visible. Passage has timber framed wall. Rear: No.19 has gabled timber framed wing, partly underbuilt in brick. No.18 has C19 and C20 brick additions. Brick stack with star shafts. Interior not inspected.
