Bridge over River Bourne. Late C15/early C16. Dressed limestone.
Two pairs of archways linked by causeway; western arch is semi-
circular, the other three are pointed. Cutwaters with weathered
heads between each pair of arches, on both sides. Roll-moulded and
hollow chamfered continuous string course at road level, with
parapet above with weathered C18 coping and square piers at either
end. Stone revetment walls with weathered coping at either end of
bridge. West part is in New Sarum CP. Ancient Monuments,
