Late C17 refronted. 2 storeys and attic. Rendered with keyed lintels to
windows. Tall projecting moulded plinth. 3 gables to front; gables have
stone coping, lacking pinnacles, linked by short sections of parapet. Old
tile roof; kneelers to sides. The central gable has an attic (sash) window.
3-light glazing bar casement with traces of stone mullions. Panels to other
gables. Irregularly disposed sash windows. An elaborate Palladian window
to right of centre on 1st floor; 4 other windows, 2 blind with glazing bars,
4 windows on ground floor, 3 lengthened, one blind. 6-panelled door to
left in panelled reveals; doorcase has fluted Doric pilasters supporting
entablature with pulvinated frieze, dentil cornice and pediment. Single
storey wing links to No 25; rendered plinth chequered red and blue painted
brick, brick block cornice; old tile roof with 2 ridge heights to one slope;
late glazed sash to left with segmental head; central ledged door with ledged
head; C20 3-light casement to right in former wide segmental headed throughpassage
arch.
