Row of 4 houses. C16/C17 origin. Heightened and refronted late C18. 3 storeys
rendered fronts, the added 2nd floor slightly overhanging with moulded boxed
beam. Steep hipped old tile roof. 4 windows to upper floors. 2nd floor has
flush framed casements with glazing bars. 1st floor has flush framed sashes,
glazing bars intact. Ground floors of Nos 101 and 102 have sashes, 5 x 4 panes,
the frames linked to doorcases. Nos 103 and 104 have lager former shop windows,
large 2 x 4 panes, 2 hinged. The entrance of No 104 set back at angle next
to passage entrance. Doors of 4 and 6 panels in panelled and reeded doorcases.
The original front corner post of No 101 is visible and inside the house on
2nd floor is a room with reset C16 panelling. To the rear the 2nd floor is
slate hung, later gable to rear of No 104.
Nos 99 to 112 (consec) form a group.
