Late C17/early C18 summerhouse with banded rustication to painted stone. Full
width moulded pediment decorated with cartouche and delicately carved cornucopia.
3 bay front with windows in rectangular recesses, keystones and voussoirs
to flat arches. Centre window full length with parallel base. Thick glazing
bars. West front also pedimented with doubled pilasters framing double glazed
doors with heavy large lattice glazing pattern. The interior is panelled.
No 68 The Close has similar glazing to garden door.
All the listed buildings in the Close form an outstanding group.
