Circa 1700 to front, altered. Mid C18 range to rear.
Front: 2 storeys, stucco. Modern tile roof replacing stone slates, hipped
to front. Two storey slight angled bay with 4 windows on first floor and
shop window on ground floor. Moulded wooden eaves cornice. Two fluted rainwater
heads flanking bay.
Rear: 2 1/2 storey circa 1765 wing with cellar. Small coursed rubble with ashlar
quoins and dressings and band over ground floor. Slightly projecting keys
to windows, which are segmental headed on ground floor. One+five bays (right
hand bay narrow and set back). Flush framed architrave windows some with
glazing bars, one ground floor window (now overlight to inserted porch) with
original thick bars. Central gabled dormer with moulded cornice. Small single
storey slated extension to south.
Interior: on ground floor panelled rooms with niche cupboards, north room
has large bolection fireplace. First floor north room has Adam-type fireplace.
Staircase has straight string and turned balusters.
