Formerly listed under Castle Combe parish (boundary change).
Farmhouse, mid C18 coursed squared rubble stone with stone tiled
roofs, coped gables and end wall stacks. 2 storeys. Flush
quoins, moulded eaves and 12-pane sashes in flush bead moulded
surrounds. Main 3-window range to left with pair of sashes to
left, single sash to right each floor and cornice strips over
ground floor windows. Central first floor sash over C20 6-panel
door in moulded flush doorcase with pediment on brackets over.
Lower south wing 2-window range with cornice strips over ground
floor windows. Two stone fireplaces, moulded with quadrant curves
to lintel. Fielded panelled shutters. Altered closed string
staircase. Cellar under north end. Previously an inn, the Scrope
Arms.
