C19, extensively restored in the 1980s. Timber-framed, encased
in white brick; pantiled roofs.

storey 20-pane sash windows in plain reveals with flat stucco
arches; one similar window to the ground storey.
No.22 has a similar single ground storey window, but the 1st
storey windows are narrower 15-pane sashes, set at a lower
level. The brick front to No.22 rises above eaves level in a
high parapet which contains a 9-pane sash window to the attic.
Behind it the apex of the gable of a small original cross-wing
is visible. Both houses have similar plain doorways with
rendered flat arches; ornate late C20 doors.
INTERIOR: No.22: A small flint-lined vaulted cellar with some
C19 brick introduced. A few timbers exposed inside, partly
reused, some in the upper part of a late C17 rear wing. No.21
not inspected.
