Garden House

GV II

Garden house, now used as a refreshments kiosk, built out from
the former north wall of the Great Court of the Abbey. Early
C19; in Regency Gothic style. In flint with stone quoins and
some stone blocks on the front. Single pitch slate roof. 4
window range: later C19 sashes with vertical glazing-bars
only. Sections of replaced brickwork below them show that the
original windows were deeper. A central door. Above windows
and door are shallow pointed-arched plastered niches with red
brick surrounds.
