Farmhouse, C17, refronted and extended in later C18, rubble stone, originally roughcast, with ashlar dressings and stone slate roof with coped gables, ridge stack and end stacks.

Long two-storey six-window front of twelve-pane sashes in raised ashlar surrounds, ashlar plinth and angle piers. Six-pane door in fifth bay with raised beaded ashlar surround and pediment on brackets.

Rear is in two sections, that to left with later C18 curved and mansard-roofed stair-tower is originally C17, that to right is probably later C18, and has long outbuilding range with half-hipped south gable attached. Stair tower has Venetian window with blank side lights at first floor level.

Interior: C17 range has deep-chamfered beams and two-purlin roof incorporating as spine beams some re-used chamfered beams. A fire- back said to have been found in the house is dated 1667 IDE.
