Pair of houses, C16 or earlier, timber-framed with red brick panels
on rubble stone plinth. Stone slate roof and centre ridge stack.
Two storeys. Exposed framing with curved tension braces. Two
first floor triple casements and one pair. Ground floor triple
casement, door to No 6, triple casement and door to No 7.
Interiors not inspected. There is evidence that the whole south
side of High Street may be originally of one build in C14 or early
C15, from known cruck-framed houses and even roof-line.
