House, C17, limewashed rubble stone with stone tiled roof. Two
and a half storeys with projecting cross-gabled wing to right.
Wing has coped east gable to street with attic recessed chamfered
2-light window with hoodmould, first floor pair of sashes in bead-
moulded surround with dripstone and ground floor C19 shop front
with paired panelled pilasters and fascia. South gable has
recessed chamfered mullion windows with hoodmoulds, 2-light to
attic and 3-light to first floor. Ground floor obscured by large
single storey projecting C19 canted shop in angle to main range.
Similar detail as adjoining shop front. Main range has upper pair
of 6-pane sashes and north gable end 2-light recessed chamfered
mullion windows with hoodmoulds to attic and first floor.
Interior: cross-wing has moulded stone C17 first floor fireplace
on north wall. Early C20 photograph shows 2 sashes in place of
wing shop front.
